Important to know
Notification of damage
No bonus is earned by having the car insured in this scheme. Therefore, there will be no loss of bonus in the event of damage.
Grossly negligent driving/recourse
As a result, you may also have to pay, in whole or in part, for damage caused to someone other than yourself, e.g. the other party's vehicle in a collision (this is called recourse).
Damages under excess
In the case of minor damage that is below the deductible, the renter will only be charged the total cost (repair cost), not the full deductible.
Deductible insurance
(Must be purchased separately before signing the agreement) If the renter has purchased deductible insurance, the standard deductible is reduced to the amount stated in the agreement.
